Pastor Robert Pless was born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. He grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran High School. After attending Northwestern College in Watertown, Wisconsin, and Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, Wisconsin, he graduated in 1972 and was assigned as pastor to Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Bismarck, North Dakota. In 1977 Pastor Pless accepted a call to St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Princeton.
